Church World Service Hygiene Kits Drive: CWS hygiene kits will be collected through the month of April in the church narthex or at the church office in Riley Hall. These hygiene kits offer a refreshing daily boost for people who are forced to abruptly leave their homes because of emergencies. The items requested are very specific and should be placed in a one gallon zip locked bag. Please do not include any extra items. The specific list of 7 items are listed below.
Hygiene Kits for Church World Service: 1 hand towel (approx 16”x28”) ; 1 washcloth ; 10 standard size band-aid; 1 wide tooth comb (removed from pkg) ; 1 toothbrush (in original pkg); 1 bar bath-size soap (in wrapper); 1 fingernail or toenail clipper (removed from pkg)
GOODS AND SERVICES AUCTION, Friday May 3: Get ready for a night of fun, fellowship, and fundraising coming up in just a few weeks as our Goods and Services Auction gets underway at Riley Hall. Bidding will begin at 7:00 p.m., with a preview opportunity for viewing items and munching on pot-luck desserts and snacks before the donated services and goods go up for sale. Please consider what you might offer to be auctioned. Do you have a particular item that you’d be willing to donate? Terrific! Or would you be willing to offer a “service?” Planning and preparing this event requires a team of volunteers.
