Massachusetts Conference of the United Church of Christ – A great site to find out more about the state conference that First Congregational Church supports.  The conference provides educational resources and guidance to the local church.  In Massachusetts 386 churches are members of the conference. 

National United Church of Christ Web Site – A wonderful site to find out more about the denomination First Congregational Church is affiliated with.  The site also has terrific devotional and national church news section.   First Congregational Church is in a covenantal relationship with the United Church of Christ denomination.  The United Church of Christ (UCC) is a denomination of 1.1 million members.  The UCC is a denomination which welcomes all people with a non-judgmental theology and accepts both women and me into positions of leadership within the church.  Each local church is autonomous from the UCC national church and the UCC national church acts in an advisory capacity, not a dictatorial capacity, in its relationship with the local church.
